The release date of Bloodshot, with Vin Diesel, is delayed to March

It has been an unexpected change for many of us, but Sony has announced that the release date of "Bloodshot" will move from February 21 to March 13, 2020. We will have to wait a little longer to enjoy this mythical character based on the best selling comic of "Valiant".

Starring Vin Diesel and playing Ray Garrison, a man who is brought from death as a lethal weapon, thanks to the use of nanotechnology by Rising Spirit Technologies. It may seem odd not to be Marvel or DC, but the comic has sold more than 8 million copies worldwide, and remains one of the most popular and lasting creations of the past 25 years.

We have Diesel briefly leaving his "Fast and Furious" universe for the first special effects supervisor project Dave Wilson (Avengers: Age of Ultron) as director. And interestingly, it will be released the same weekend as "My Spy", a comedy starring Dave Bautista with which he will have to face at the box office.

The new Diesel movie is a relatively large release, with an audience of fans of eager comics, and possibly taking first place in those days. Sony hopes that "Bloodshot" will be a success, and changing its release date could help to raise and impact as much as possible. We are not sure at this time why the delay, simply the producers have expressed their decision, believing that it was the best for the title.

The trailers so far have been visually impressive, while showing a lot of blood, potentially playing with the certification of an R-rated movie. We will now see if Diesel and his new comic character can open another franchise for the star of "Fast and Furious "and" Riddick ".
